Are you really sure you want to go there? Ok…

Born under a bad sign? How the heck would I know?!? Just a few days shy of being a 10-month pregnancy for my mom, I came into this world during a snow storm in mid-December around 3:30 in the afternoon. I think my Dad couldn’t even get to the hospital for a couple of days. Maybe that’s why I love the snow so much!

I grew up in Suburbia with my parents and many animals. We had a large pen with deer and peacocks, plus we always had 5- 6 dogs and 8-9 cats at any given time. For a while we also had 10 ferrets running around the house too. At least the dogs were poodles and little ones at that. After fourth grade, I left public school to attend Catholic for 8 years of living hell. I was always encouraged to think for myself and to be creative – Catholic school inhibits all form of creativity and individuality. Hence…I was not a happy camper!! I rebelled in my own ways…for my 6th grade science project, I made a working still. You know, those things that make moonshine & hooch?!? To add to my repertoire, I read Stephen King because I loved the variety of stories and characters which he wrote about. I also read occult books just so the nuns would raise an eyebrow at me! Graduated from high school and left the state to go to college up north. In October of my sophomore year, I met my honey…he proposed the following September. We finally got married a year after I graduated. First all I ever heard was, “Are you ever going to get married?” … Now all I hear is, “When are you going to have kids?” Ugh!!

So I live up north with my honey, our cats & dog. I love the snow and the winter, not too crazy for hot, humid weather. I married a native, who hates the winter, the snow, and the cold. Go figure!
